Forbes Education has stated that when you "teach kids to code, you give them a skill for life." Technological advancements have transformed the way we live, yet the educational systems struggle to remain relevant. While students learn how to work technology, they rarely learn how technology works. Research and studies demonstrate that tech-related employment will rise 22% by 2020, with the strongest demand for software developers. It is essential we meet that demand now by preparing our students for the careers of the future.
Teach-n-Tutor is proud to have partnered with 59DaysofCode to bring programming and coding education to students across the Central Valley. Students will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of code, while learning to program real-life projects such as robots, drones, and video games. Teaching students to code and program will ultimately drive them to be the developers and innovators who will simplify our lives via their technological achievements.
